New To Nails

Six months ago I decided to break my nail biting habit once and for all after wanting to try different nail polishes and what not. I bit my nails for as far back as I can remember and so when I stopped, I began to explore different polishes, products, and nail tools. I have discovered some tools that make giving myself a manicure close to perfect, polishes that are holy grail, and preferences for cleaning up my nails. Philosophy Supernatural Superglossy Lip Gloss

This is my first Philosophy purchase and I was really excited since I've heard great things about the company. I purchased a holiday set I saw online during the Black Friday sale for about 10-15 dollars. It is a 2 piece Supernatural Superglossy Lip Gloss set and it came with the colors Bare Your Soul and Reflect A Little. The lip gloss is a perfect consistency to me because it is in between the super wet type of gloss that feels great on your lips and dries up fast and the goopy ones that last a long time, but doesn't feel so great. It's one of those glosses that you keep rubbing your lips together because it feels so great (ok, that sounded weird, but you know what I'm talking about!!).

Bare Your Soul is a nude kind of gloss and it is exactly how I wanted it to look. The Reflect A Little gloss is more of a light pink neutral color with a little bit of shimmer to it. This one actually has a bit of a minty smell to it. Between the two, I like the Bare Your Soul more because it's just a little darker and more natural for my lip color.

I've included some kind of bad quality images off my phone of these. I will be trying to use a different camera in the future, as I know this one is rough!!

I have read the cons about it and have to agree that the tube is pretty small. I have small hands and it's a little taller than my middle finger. With that said though, a little goes a long way. I also think the normal price of 16.50 is worth it for a color that you really like. I usually don't splurge 15 dollars for something for my lips, but I think if there is a color you really like, it is well worth it. I would suggest swatching it in person though because I think the pictures online don't do it justice. Oh, it also has SPF 15 in it.

Pros: *Has SPF 15 in it *A little goes a long way *Awesome color and texture *Able to do easy checkout using PayPal on their site

Cons: *Tube is on the smaller side (about the length of my middle finger)

Introduction

Hey everyone! I am starting this blog to share my opinions on products that I will be buying and have already purchased. I am newer at this beauty stuff, so I am kind of doing a trial and error on products and I think that it will be useful for others.
